Inspired by a carved panel from Naraingarh, Haryana, this Goddess Durga sculpture recreates an early medieval image of the Devi, dating back to the 9th–10th Century CE. The goddess is depicted seated in Lalitasana, with one leg folded and the other resting downward, surrounded by attendant figures and celestial beings within an arched surround. This hand-finished artefact is crafted in stone composite, preserving the layered composition and distinctive iconography of early medieval Devi imagery. A powerful yet serene addition to a living room, study, meditation space, or personal collection. Traditionally associated with strength and protection, placing an image of Durga in a prominent, elevated space is believed in Vastu to bring a sense of security and positive energy to the home. Whether chosen for a festive occasion, a thoughtful gift, or as a meaningful addition to a heritage collection, this piece brings together artistic heritage, devotion, and timeless symbolism.
