VARAHA HERITAGE
“WIN A TRIP TO THE BRITISH MUSEUM, LONDON” - LUCKY DRAW
Official Terms & Conditions
These Terms & Conditions govern the promotional lucky draw titled “Win a Trip to the British Museum, London” (the “Offer” / “Lucky Draw”) conducted by Varaha Heritage Tech Labs LLP , a limited liability partnership registered under the Limited Liability Partnership Act, 2008, having its registered office at Triveni Complex, Fourth Floor, B104, Panchsheel Vihar, Sheikh Sarai Village, Malviya Nagar, New Delhi, Delhi 110017 us, operating the website www.varahaheritage.com. By participating in the Offer, i.e., by placing a Qualifying Purchase (defined below) on the Website during the Offer Period, the customer (“Participant”) agrees to be bound by these Terms, in addition to the Company’s general Terms of Use and Privacy Policy available on the Website.
1. Offer Period
The Offer is valid from 10 September 2026 to 8 November 2026, both days inclusive (“Offer Period”), unless extended, shortened, suspended or withdrawn earlier by the Company as per Clause 11. Only Qualifying Purchases made within the Offer Period will be eligible for entry into the Lucky Draw.
2. Qualifying Purchase
“Qualifying Purchase” means a single order placed by a Participant on the Website during the Offer Period with a net cart value of ₹4,999 (Rupees four thousand nine hundred and ninety-nine) or more, calculated after applying discounts/coupons and before shipping charges and gift-wrap charges this is inclusive of GST]. The Company does not offer full Cash-on-Delivery; where an order is placed under the Company’s Partial COD facility (part payment online at the time of ordering, balance collected at the time of delivery), that order will be treated as a Qualifying Purchase, and the corresponding entry/draw ID will be generated, only once the full order amount has been received by the Company that is, only after the balance/COD portion has been successfully collected on delivery, and not merely at the time the order is placed. An order that is, at the time of the draw, wholly or partly cancelled, returned or refunded such that its net retained value falls below ₹4,999, or for which the Company has not received the full order amount, will not be treated as a Qualifying Purchase and will not carry an entry.
Each Qualifying Purchase generates exactly one (1) entry/draw ID, regardless of the number of items in the order.
Splitting what would otherwise be a single order into multiple smaller transactions, each below ₹4,999 or 55 $, does not qualify for an entry, whether considered individually or in aggregate.
Orders placed using store credit, gift cards or via exchange/return adjustments will be evaluated on their net payable value as reasonably determined by the Company.
3. Eligibility
A Participant is eligible to take part in the Lucky Draw only if all the following conditions are met:
The Participant Should be at least 18 years of age at the time of the Qualifying Purchase.
The Participant has made one or more genuine Qualifying Purchase(s) as a retail (business-to-consumer) customer, for personal/domestic use and not for resale, wholesale, trade or business-to-business (B2B) purposes, placed directly on the Website during the Offer Period using a valid registered account, mobile number and email address. This Offer is available only in respect of such retail purchases made on the Website and does not extend to offline/in-store purchases, or to any B2B, wholesale, institutional or bulk-order sales channel, even if invoiced by the Company or its affiliates.
The Participant holds or is reasonably able to obtain in time for the trip, a valid Indian passport with at least 6 months’ validity beyond the proposed travel dates.
Employees, partners, designated partners and consultants of the Company, its group/affiliate entities, its marketing/creative agencies, and the immediate family members (spouse, parents, children, siblings) of any of the foregoing, are not eligible to participate.
Note: See Clause 11 for the Tamil Nadu exclusion, which is required for purchase-linked prize schemes under state law.
4. How Draw Entries Are Earned
Every Qualifying Purchase earns the Participant one additional, separate entry into the Lucky Draw. There is no limit on the number of entries a single Participant may earn during the Offer Period — the more Qualifying Purchases a Participant makes, the more entries (and therefore the greater the chance, though never a guarantee, of being selected) they will have. For example, a Participant who places three separate Qualifying Purchases during the Offer Period will hold three entries in the draw. As set out in Clause 2, where an order is placed under Partial COD, the entry/draw ID is generated only once the Company has received the full order amount, not at the time the order is placed.
Entries are non-transferable between Participants, cannot be gifted, sold, combined with another person’s entries, or carried forward to any future or subsequent offer.
If a Qualifying Purchase is subsequently cancelled, returned or refunded (in whole, or in part such that its net retained value falls below ₹4,999) before the draw is conducted, the corresponding entry will be automatically removed and will not be considered in the draw.
5. The Prize
One (1) winner will receive a complimentary trip to London, United Kingdom, to visit the British Museum, comprising the following, arranged by the Company or its appointed travel partner:
Return economy class air tickets for the winner, from Delhi to London.

The approximate value of the Prize for reference and tax purposes is ₹2,00,000 (Rupees two lakh only) (“Prize Value”); the actual cost may vary depending on the travel dates, season, and fare/rate at the time of booking. This estimate will be used to compute the tax referred to in Clause 8.

UK visa application fees, any transit/connecting visa fees, visa appointment/service charges, and travel/health insurance.

Any meals beyond the daily breakfast including minibar, laundry, tips, and incidental hotel charges.
The winner may bring a companion of their choice on the trip. However, the Company will bear travel and accommodation costs for the winner only all costs relating to the companion, including their flight, visa, any single-to-twin room supplement at the hotel, and meals, are the sole responsibility of the winner/companion.

The winner’s trip is intended to take place within the window of January to March 2027, giving the winner at least two months from confirmation to complete visa applications and other travel preparations, subject to flight/hotel availability and any blackout periods the Company may notify. If the winner is unable to travel within six (6) months of being confirmed as the winner, for reasons attributable to the winner (including visa refusal or delay), the Prize will be treated as forfeited and no substitute or compensation will be provided.
6. Winner Notification & Verification
The winner will be contacted on the mobile number and/or email address registered against the winning entry, within 7 days of the draw. The winner must respond and complete verification including submission of a valid government photo ID, PAN, and proof of the relevant Qualifying Purchase(s) within 7 days of the first attempt at contact.
If the Company is unable to reach the winner, or the winner fails to complete verification, within the stipulated time, or is found ineligible under Clause 3, the Company reserves the right to disqualify that entry and select an alternate winner by re-draw from the remaining valid entries, without any liability to the disqualified Participant.
As a condition of receiving the Prize, the winner may be required to sign a declaration, indemnity and publicity consent form. Subject to the winner’s consent, the Company may publish the winner’s name, city and photographs/videos/testimonials relating to the Prize and the trip on the Website and its social media/marketing channels for promotional purposes, at no additional cost to the Company.
7. Prize Forfeiture
The Company may, at its sole discretion, disqualify a Participant or treat the Prize as forfeited, without any liability, if:
the Participant does not satisfy the eligibility criteria in Clause 3;
the winner fails to complete verification within the stipulated time, or provides false or misleading information;
the underlying Qualifying Purchase(s) are found to be fraudulent, made through fake/duplicate accounts, bulk/bot orders, or otherwise designed to artificially generate entries;
the winner is unable to obtain a visa, or is otherwise unable to travel, within the timelines specified in Clause 5;
the winner refuses to sign the declaration, indemnity or publicity consent referred to in Clause 6.
In the event of forfeiture, the Company may select an alternate winner by re-draw from the remaining valid entries, or withdraw the Prize altogether, without any obligation to offer a substitute or compensation.
8. Taxes (TDS on the Prize)
The Prize constitutes “winnings” of the nature covered under Section 194B of the Income-tax Act, 1961 (renumbered, with effect from 1 April 2026, as Section 393(3), Sl. No. 1 of the Income-tax Act, 2025), and is accordingly subject to tax deduction at source (“TDS”) at 30%, plus applicable health and education cess (an effective rate of 31.2%), computed on the fair market value of the Prize, since this value exceeds ₹10,000.
As the Prize is provided wholly in kind (flights and hotel stay, with no cash component), applicable law requires that this tax be paid before the Prize is released. Accordingly, before air tickets and hotel bookings are confirmed in the winner’s name, the winner shall be required to pay to the Company an amount equal to the applicable TDS, computed on the Prize Value (or the actual cost of the Prize as booked, whichever the Company reasonably determines). The Company will deposit this amount with the Government as TDS in the winner’s name/PAN and will issue the winner a TDS certificate (Form 16A), which the winner may use while filing their income tax return.
The winner is solely responsible for correctly reporting the Prize as “Income from Other Sources” in their income tax return, and for any tax liability, other than the TDS described above, arising from receipt of the Prize.
9. Visa, Passport & Travel Documentation
The winner is solely responsible for obtaining a passport valid for at least 6 months beyond the travel dates, and for applying for and obtaining a valid UK visa (and any transit/connecting visas the itinerary may require), including all associated fees, appointment charges, documentation and any travel/health insurance required for the visa or the trip.
The Company will provide reasonable documentary support that a visa application may require (such as a letter confirming the Prize, and flight/hotel booking confirmations) but does not guarantee that any visa will be granted, and is not responsible for delays or decisions of visa authorities. If a visa is refused, delayed, or not obtained in time for the agreed travel window for any reason, the Prize will be treated as forfeited under Clause 7, and no substitute destination, cash equivalent or compensation will be provided.
10. Limitation of Liability
The Prize, including flights, hotel stay and meals, will be arranged through third-party airlines, hotels and travel partners, and is provided on an “as-is” basis. Save as required under applicable consumer protection law, the Company is not liable for any act, omission, delay, cancellation, rescheduling, service deficiency, loss of baggage, personal injury, illness or any other event occurring during travel or stay, whether caused by the winner, any companion, or any third-party service provider.
Subject to applicable law, the Company’s aggregate liability to any Participant or the winner arising out of or in connection with the Offer and/or the Prize shall not exceed the actual cost incurred by the Company towards the Prize.
11. General Conditions
The Company reserves the right, at its sole discretion, to modify, extend, shorten, suspend, cancel or withdraw the Offer or amend these Terms at any time, by posting an updated version on the Website; entries validly earned before any such change will continue to be honoured for the purposes of the draw as already conducted, or, if the Offer is cancelled before the draw takes place, no entries will carry any right to the Prize (this will not affect the validity of the underlying purchase transactions themselves, which remain governed by the Company’s standard sale terms).
This scheme is not valid for the residents of Tamilnadu and no entries will be created. In view of the Tamil Nadu Prize Schemes (Prohibition) Act, 1979, which prohibits prize draws linked to the purchase of goods within that state. Based on currently available legal commentary. This exclusion is without prejudice to the validity of the underlying purchase.
The Company reserves the right to disqualify any Participant found to be using fraudulent means, multiple/fake accounts, bots, or otherwise manipulating the Offer.
These Terms are in addition to, and to be read together with, the Company’s general Terms of Use, Sale Terms and Privacy Policy published on the Website, which continue to apply to every purchase.
12. Force Majeure
The Company shall not be liable for any failure or delay in conducting the draw or fulfilling the Prize where such failure or delay arises from circumstances beyond its reasonable control, including natural disasters, pandemics, strikes, airline or hotel insolvency, war, government/regulatory action or travel restrictions. In such circumstances, the Company may offer to reschedule the trip or, if genuinely not possible, provide a substitute prize of reasonably comparable value, at its sole discretion.
13. Governing Law & Jurisdiction
These Terms shall be governed by the laws of India. Courts at New Delhi shall have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute arising out of or in connection with the Offer or these Terms.
